1. Overview
Subscription Manager helps you manually track recurring subscriptions, renewal dates, external-service free trials, price changes, and cancellations. The app does not require an account, connect to your bank, read your email, access your contacts, or use advertising SDKs.
The subscription records you create are intended to remain on your device. Limited app, device, paywall, purchase, and subscription information may be processed by Apple, RevenueCat, and Superwall as described below so the app can sell, restore, present, and measure its own App Store subscription.
2. Data you enter into the app
You may enter information such as subscription names, prices, currencies, billing frequencies, renewal dates, categories, notes, external-service trial dates, reminder preferences, cancellation status, and price history.
This information is stored locally using Apple platform storage on your device. Subscription Manager does not operate a backend that uploads the third-party subscription records you manually create.
No bank or payment-account connection
Subscription Manager does not request your bank credentials, connect to financial institutions, scrape transaction histories, store payment-card numbers, or initiate cancellation or payment with third-party subscription providers.
3. App Store billing and service providers
If you purchase a Subscription Manager subscription, Apple processes the transaction through the App Store. Subscription Manager does not receive your full payment-card details.
The app uses the following service providers for its own subscription experience:
- RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier together with App Store purchase, subscription, transaction, app, and device metadata used for subscription status and revenue analytics.
- Superwall may process the same anonymous app user identifier together with app, device, paywall, interaction, purchase, and subscription metadata used to present and measure Subscription Manager paywalls.
- Apple processes App Store purchases, renewals, restoration, subscription management, and associated account and payment information under Apple’s own policies.
RevenueCat and Superwall are not provided with the subscription-tracking records you manually enter in Subscription Manager for the purpose of these integrations.
Anonymous installation identifier
The app may generate a stable anonymous identifier for the installation and provide it to RevenueCat and Superwall so events from the same installation can be associated without creating a Subscription Manager account.
4. Notifications
If you choose to enable notifications, Subscription Manager uses iOS notification permission to schedule local reminders for renewal dates and external-service free-trial dates that you entered. Notification permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings.
5. Data exports, retention, and deletion
The app can create a local JSON export of your tracked subscription data. When you save or share that file using Apple system interfaces, the destination you choose may have its own privacy practices. Subscription Manager does not upload the exported file to its own server.
Your locally tracked data remains on your device until you edit or delete it, delete all app data using the app’s controls, or remove it through normal device/app storage actions. Deleting local tracking data does not cancel third-party subscriptions or an App Store subscription.
Information processed by Apple, RevenueCat, or Superwall may be retained according to those providers’ own policies, legal obligations, and dashboard configuration.
6. This website
The website code shipped in this repository does not include analytics, advertising, account registration, tracking pixels, or a contact form. If you email support, your email provider and the receiving email service will process the message and related metadata so the request can be answered.
The service used to host this website may process standard technical information such as IP addresses, request logs, browser details, and security events under the hosting provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
7. Children’s privacy
Subscription Manager is a general-purpose personal utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly operate an account system or intentionally collect children’s personal information through the app.
8. International processing
Apple, RevenueCat, Superwall, email providers, and hosting providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their processing is governed by their respective privacy programs and applicable law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
10. Contact
For privacy questions or requests relating to Subscription Manager, contact augustin.dev@tutamail.com. Requests concerning App Store account or payment information may need to be directed to Apple because Subscription Manager does not control Apple ID billing data.
